I've done hundreds of interviews. Sometimes I fall in love with someone because their work is so terrific, or because they're funny when I hadn't expected that, or they are so intimate that I want to protect them. Sometimes I fall out of love, too, but that's much rarer.

Laura Dern (Redbook)
I had heard Dern was dating Billy Bob Thornton, but she denied it. So I stayed around after the interview, and was there when Thornton came to pick her up.
